Last updated: October 4, 2026
CarePath Transport ("CarePath," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Ride requests and callback requests: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, preferred date and time, type of transport needed, and any notes you choose to add.
- Driver employment applications: your contact details, eligibility answers, certifications, work history, availability, references, and anything else you choose to share.
- Facility and partner inquiries: your organization's name and type, your name, title, and contact details, and information about your transportation needs.
- Calls and emails: information you share when you call or email us.
Please do not send diagnoses or other medical details, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or driver's license numbers through this website. We don't need them to respond to your request.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, and provide rides, and to contact you about them.
- To review driver applications and contact applicants about hiring.
- To respond to facility and partner inquiries and set up accounts.
- To bill for services and keep business records.
- To improve our services and keep our website secure.
- To meet legal, insurance, licensing, and contract requirements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, the form service that delivers website submissions to our email (currently FormSubmit), our email provider, and scheduling or billing tools.
- Our payment processor, Square, which handles card payments under its own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.
- Health plans, transportation brokers, and facilities that arrange or pay for your ride, when you ride through them.
- Background check, driving record, and drug screening providers for driver applicants, only with the applicant's separate written authorization.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as complying with the law, responding to lawful requests, or protecting the safety of riders, drivers, and the public.
Health information
When we provide rides arranged or paid for by a health plan, Medicaid, or a healthcare facility, information about those rides may be protected health information. We protect it as required by applicable law, including HIPAA where it applies, and by our contracts.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your ride, application, or inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by calling us. We do not send marketing texts without your consent.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including business, legal, insurance, and contract recordkeeping requirements:
- Ride, trip, and billing records: 7 years from the date of service.
- Applications from candidates we don't hire: 1 year from the hiring decision.
- Employee records: at least 4 years after employment ends.
- Website inquiries that don't lead to a ride or account: up to 2 years.
We may keep records longer when the law, a contract, an audit, or a legal claim requires it. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely destroy it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please use the phone for anything sensitive.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Rides for minors must be arranged by a parent, guardian, or authorized facility.
